Councillor Jane Gebbie

I have held senior roles in local government, including scrutiny for health, social services, education, budgets and legislation. She is also the spokesperson for workforce, health and social care at the Welsh Local Government Association.

With a passion for fairness and social justice, I am aTrade Union Member and previously represented public services as Deputy Convenor for UNISON Wales, and as a member of Wales TUC General Council. I am also an active member of Bridgend County Borough Council’s Equality Committee.

Councillor Huw David

I was elected as the Leader of Bridgend County Borough Council in October 2016, having served as the Deputy Leader since 2015. I was first appointed as a Cabinet Member in 2008.

I am the spokesperson for Health and Social Care and Presiding Officer for the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA). Through this national role, I am a member of the Together for Children and Young People (T4CYP) Expert Reference Group and the Improving Outcomes for Children Steering Group Ministerial Advisory Group.
