This is a booklet that has been co-produced with people with learning disabilities, carers and professionals.

An introduction to My Dream Home

People with learning disabilities told us that having clear, accessible information about housing choices is a top priority. So, together with individuals, parents, carers, and professionals, we created a booklet to make the process easier and more empowering.

“My Dream Home” is a name chosen by people with learning disabilities. It reminds us that any home can be a dream home when we have the freedom to make choices about how it looks and how it feels. A home becomes truly ours when it reflects who we are.

We know choosing the right place to live is a big decision. Inside, the booklet is practical guidance to help people feel in control of their choices and have meaningful conversations about where they live.
