Improve the availability and variety of children’s home care services
We will work with partners to support the development of new residential accommodation facilities that are designed with children and young people in mind. We will do this by helping providers gain access to funds to develop homes. This is a move to the ‘eliminating profit agenda’, a non-for-profit model driven by Welsh Government. Our aim is to ensure children are accommodated as close to home as possible, near their friend and families and support networks.
