We have launched a new campaign to raise standards and improve dementia care across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil.

We want to make dementia care and support better.

Dementia is everyone’s business and meeting the All Wales Dementia Care Pathway of Standards is a responsibility across the whole of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg region.

We all have a shared responsibility for making sure that people with dementia have a positive experience of receiving care and support and ensuring the standards are being met.

We need to ensure that carers, people living with dementia, and health and social care professionals, are joined up to create communities that support people with dementia and provide services that are fit for purpose.

People living with dementia, their carers and family members are likely to use health, social care and charity services at some point in their journey.

We are developing information around the standards, and we need your support in getting the message out there, so we can all work together to create a better environment for people living with dementia.

Please help signpost people to this campaign.

Join us in shaping the way care and support looks for people with dementia, carers and their families.

When we all come together, we make things better for everyone.
