Councillor Jane Gebbie

Job Title: Chair of the CTM RPB and Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Social Services and Early Help at Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC)

I have held senior roles in local government, including scrutiny for health, social services, education, budgets and legislation. She is also the spokesperson for workforce, health and social care at the Welsh Local Government Association.

With a passion for fairness and social justice, I am aTrade Union Member and previously represented public services as Deputy Convenor for UNISON Wales, and as a member of Wales TUC General Council. I am also an active member of Bridgend County Borough Council’s Equality Committee.
