A person with a 'health or physical disability' including sensory impairment may have difficulty carrying out every day activities as their movement and senses may be limited. Sensory impairment includes reduced or loss of sight, hearing, or both.
There are many different types of conditions, and everyone experiences them differently. Although a range of support for these individuals is available in RCT, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil, it's important we work with people with physical disabilities, their families and carers, to understand where improvements can be made, and what new services may be needed.
Information such as this helps us to understand how people with physical disabilities and sensory impairment can be supported and empowered to have their voice heard.
Whether you have a physical disability or sensory impairment, are a family member/ friend, or support people with physical disabilities, this page will keep you up to date on our progress and ways to get involved.
